Intuitivitea Casting Tips

Reading the Language of the Leaves
One of the most common questions I receive about the Intuitivitea system is:
“How do I interpret my roll?”
The truth is that there is no single correct interpretation. However, each element has meaning in your guidebook. Page 17 goes over the black and white dice meanings, and each chapter, starting with White tea on Page 22, will have the interpretations for each simple in their respective quadrant.
Each casting is a conversation between your intuition, the moment you are in, and the energetic qualities of the moon phase you are working with.
Over time you may notice your own patterns and meanings emerging. The interpretations below are guideposts, not limits.
If you are just beginning, however, it can be helpful to see a few example interpretations. Think of these as guideposts, not rules. Let them spark your own insight rather than replace it.
Below are a few examples of how a roll might be interpreted depending on the moon phase and where the dice land.
Example Roll Interpretations
I organized these so they feel structured but still intuitive.
New Moon Castings
Setting Intention
The New Moon is a time of quiet beginnings and inner listening.
Example Interpretations
If the white die lands in the White Tea quadrant
A new intention is beginning to form. This is a moment to move gently and allow clarity to arise naturally rather than forcing decisions too quickly.
If the black die lands in the White Tea quadrant
Your inner world is asking for stillness before action. Spend time listening inward before committing to a direction.
If both dice land near the center
The path ahead is still unfolding. Allow curiosity to guide you rather than rushing toward certainty.
First Quarter Moon Castings
Action and Momentum
The First Quarter Moon represents movement and decision.
Example Interpretations
If the white die lands in the Green Tea quadrant
You are being asked to take an external action. Something in your life is ready for forward movement.
If the black die lands in the Green Tea quadrant
Shadow work may be needed before moving forward. Reflect on what fear or hesitation may be asking to be acknowledged.
If both dice land in the Green Tea quadrant
Your inner readiness and external circumstances are aligning. This is a powerful moment to begin implementing your plans.
Full Moon Castings
Illumination and Awareness
The Full Moon reveals what has been growing beneath the surface.
Example Interpretations
If the black die lands in the Black Tea quadrant
Something emotional or intuitive is coming into awareness. Give yourself space to acknowledge what is being illuminated.
If the white die lands in the Black Tea quadrant
A truth may be asking to be expressed outwardly. What has been internal may now need to be communicated or embodied.
If the dice land in opposing quadrants
You may be experiencing tension between inner knowing and outward action. The Full Moon invites you to notice this contrast with compassion.
Last Quarter Moon Castings
Release and Integration
The Last Quarter Moon is a time of clearing and rebalancing.
Example Interpretations
If the white die lands in the Pu’er quadrant
You are being asked to take one final action step toward balance before the cycle begins again.
If the black die lands in the Pu’er quadrant
Emotional or energetic closure may be needed. Reflect on what you are ready to release before the next New Moon.
If the dice land close together
Integration is happening. Allow yourself time to process what this cycle has revealed.
Additional Signs to Notice During a Casting
Sometimes, the most meaningful part of a casting is not only where the dice land, but how they land. The way the dice move across the cloth can offer subtle cues for reflection.
If one die rolls off the cloth
When a die rolls beyond the cloth, allow your attention to rest on the die that remains.
The message that is ready to be received is already present. Rather than chasing the missing piece, focus on what is clearly before you.
Often this suggests that clarity will come through simplicity rather than over-analysis.
If one die visually stands out to you
Sometimes your eye will naturally settle on one die more than the other.
This is often your intuition gently guiding your attention. Notice which quadrant the die is in and what that tea represents in your current cycle.
The message may be asking you to place greater awareness in this area of your life.
If both dice land in the same quadrant
This is a powerful and harmonious roll.
When both dice land together, it suggests alignment between your inner world and your outward actions. Your thoughts, emotions, and choices are moving in the same direction.
In many cases, this indicates that you are already moving forward with both clarity of mind and openness of heart.
